I set up my own company, Pseudonym Ltd, from a standing start, taking it to over £150,000 turnover within 2 years, employing myself plus 2 others: a designer and an account handler. All work on this site was commissioned directly by the clients involved. See portfolio.
Since the sudden death of my husband in March 1995, I had to scale down my business to allow time to pursue 2 high profile court cases, which ultimately led to the birth of my sons, Liam and Joel, and being able to name their deceased father on their birth certificates.
My company worked on many high profile accounts, winning creative pitches against leading agencies. I wrote and promoted a book about the circumstances of my children's births called Flesh and Blood. It was published in hardback in October 2004 and paperback in October 2005 by Mainstream Publishing, Edinburgh.
I have also done public speaking on medical and human rights issues and commented extensively in the media.
